Allen is a county in Ohio. It was formed in 1820 (1831) from the following county/ies: Shelby/Logan *Mercer. Allen began keeping birth records in 1867, marriage records in 1831, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1831, probate records in 1835, and court records in 1831.
