Allen is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1815 from the following county/ies: Barren/Warren. Allen began keeping birth records in 1852, marriage records in 1815, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1816, probate records in 1815, and court records in 1826. For more information, contact the county at 201 W. Main St./P.O. Box 336, Scottsville 42164-0336 .
