Project Instructions This collection contains bankruptcy notices snipped from a New Zealand Gazette, 1893-1904. Fields being keyed include the name of the person declared bankrupt, their occupation, residence and place and date relating to the bankruptcy.

There are typically several notices per image. Each notice should be keyed on a separate record. Some notices mentioning estates will have a list of names. Key each name on a separate record. Do not key the names of magistrates, government officials, or the names of authors of articles.
