Project Instructions
This collection contains an index to the 1895 Marion County, Oregon Census.

From these records we are keying the residence township, name, age, gender, birth place, religion and occupation.

The residence township will appear at the beginning of a new section. Only key the name of the township/town/city. Do not key the name of the county or state, or specific denotations such as (Chinese) or State Penitentiary. If unknown appears, leave this field blank.

The age will appear at the end of the entry. For ages that appear as "21+" key as "Over 21". Other non-specific ages (such as under 10) should be keyed as seen.
