This collection contains a publication of members of the Anglican clergy in 1897.
From these images we are keying names and residence location where available.
Only key names of clergy members and lay members on a council. Do not key names of benefactors, patrons, or names that are only titles, such as "The Lord Bishop of London."
Where possible residence locations should be keyed. For images that have headers, key the residence location from the header. For images that do not have headers, key from the most recent residence place.
Do not key street addresses, names of churches, or other names of buildings as a residence location. Separate geographical locations with a comma, such as "Pentwyn, Monmouth".

Clergy List
Choose the "Clergy List" form type when the image contains names of clergy members. Images of advertisements are not being keyed, and should be classified as "Cover page, Section header, etc."

Prefix
Key any titles before the given name, such as "Rev," "Archd," or "Deacon" as seen on the record using the dictionary provided to assist you. Do not key the word "The" as part of the prefix. Only key names of clergy members and lay members on a council.

Given
Key the first name or initial and any middle names as seen on the record using the dictionary provided to assist you. Initials should be keyed with a space between them and without entering the periods. Only key names of clergy members and lay members on a council. Do not key names of benefactors, patrons, or names that are only titles, such as "The Lord Bishop of London."
Surname
Key the surname as seen on the record using the dictionary provided to assist you. Only key names of clergy members and lay members on a council. Do not key names of benefactors, patrons, or names that are only titles, such as "The Lord Bishop of London."
Suffix
Key all titles, such as "Jr" or "III", following the surname as seen on the record using the dictionary provided to assist you. Do not key educational distinctions.

Key the residence location as seen on the image using the dictionary provided to assist you. For images that have headers, key the residence location from the header. For images that do not have headers, key from the most recent residence place.
