Winneshiek is a county in Iowa. It was formed in 1847 (1851) from the following county/ies: unorganized (Clayton). Winneshiek began keeping birth records in 1880, marriage records in 1851, and death records in 1880. It began keeping land records in 1851, probate records in 1852, and court records in 1851.
