Williamsburg is a county or district in South Carolina. It was formed in 1804 from the following county/ies or district/s: Georgetown. Williamsburg began keeping birth records in 1915, marriage records in 1911, and death records in 1915. It began keeping land records in 1806, probate records in 1802, and court records in 1806.
