Whitfield is a county in Georgia. It was formed in 1851 from the following county/ies: Murray. Whitfield began keeping birth records in 1927, marriage records in 1852, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1852, probate records in 1852, and court records in 1852. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 248, Dalton 30722.
