Wells is a county in Indiana. It was formed in 1835 (1837) from the following county/ies: Adams New Purchase (Allen/Delaware/Randolph). Wells began keeping birth records in 1883, marriage records in 1837, and death records in 1883. It began keeping land records in 1838, and probate records in 1838.
