Waldo is a county in Maine. It was formed in 1827 from the following county/ies: Hancock. Waldo began keeping marriage records in 1828'87 now located at the Maine State Archives. It began keeping land records in 1789*, and probate records in 1827. For more information, contact the county at 73 Church St. Belfast 04915-1705.
