Union is a county in South Dakota. It was formed in 1862 (as Cole; renamed, 1864) from the following county/ies: unorganized/Gregory/Todd (old). Union began keeping birth records in , marriage records in ?, and death records in . It began keeping land records in 1862?, probate records in 1862?, and court records in 1862?.
