Trinity is a county in California. It was formed in 1850 from the following county/ies: original. Trinity began keeping birth records in 1873 , marriage records in 1857, and death records in 1873. It began keeping land records in 1855, probate records in 1860, and court records in 1854. For more information, contact the county at 101 Court St/P.O. Box 1613, Weaverville 96093. On the attached map, Trinity is located at B1 . For the first year of organization, Trinity County was attached to Shasta County. Land was later added from counties Klamath (1855) and Mendocino (1860, 1872).
