Trempealeau is a county in Wisconsin. It was formed in 1854 from the following counties: Buffalo/Chippewa/Jackson/La Crosse. Trempealeau began keeping birth records in 1845, marriage records in 1856, and death records in 1847. It began keeping land records in 1855, probate records in 1855, and court records in 1855.
