Tehama is a county in California. It was formed in 1856 from the following county/ies: Colusa/Butte/Shasta. Tehama began keeping birth records in 1889 , marriage records in 1856, and death records in 1889. It began keeping land records in 1856, probate records in 1856, and court records in 1856. For more information, contact the county at 332 Pine St/P.O. Box 250, Red Bluff 96080. On the attached map, Tehama is located at B2 . Land was later added from Shasta (1857) and Butte (1857).
