Wish to discuss Rev. Stephen Bachiler with Robert....any updates to his Engish data? Am well informed of the 15 pages done on him 5 years +- back wish to hear more, perhaps I can help. new/old data found in Historical Intruduction of .........: page xxiv: On 4th October, 1571, the first national Synod was held at Emdem, where Petrus Dathenius represented the Dutch Churces in England. In 1572 many towns in Holland, having freed themselves from the Spanish yoke by aid of the Water Geusen, the Prince of Orange wrote most gracious letters to the Church in London, requestion that faithful ministers might be sent to the mother-country. Bartholdus and Wingius immediately responded to the call, their places being filled by Joannes Cubus and Jacobus Regius. In the following year the Prince sent a special messenger entreating the Church in London to send him asistance in the way of provisions and military stores."
