Sutter is a county in California. It was formed in 1850 from the following county/ies: original. Sutter began keeping birth records in 1873, marriage records in 1850, and death records in 1873. It began keeping land records in 1849, probate records in 1872, and court records in 1854. For more information, contact the county at 1160 Civic Center Blvd, Yuba City 95993. On the attached map, Sutter is located at B7 . Land was later added from counties Placer (1866) and Butte (1852, 1854, and 1866).
