Summit is a county in Ohio. It was formed in 1840 (1840) from the following county/ies: Medina/Portage/Stark. Summit began keeping birth records in 1866, marriage records in 1840, and death records in 1870. It began keeping land records in 1840, probate records in 1839, and court records in 1840.
