Sullivan is a county in New Hampshire. It was formed in 1827 from the following county/ies: Cheshire. Sullivan began keeping vital records in 1827, and court records in 1827. For more information, contact the county at 24 Main St., Newport 03773. On the attached map, Sullivan is located at H2. Early deeds were damaged by fire. A separate series of 'burned deeds,' consisting of copies of surviving portions of the burned volumes with a separate index, is at the registry.
