Somerset is a county in New Jersey. It was formed in 1688 from Middlesex county. The Earliest Land Deed was recorded in 1765/1785. The Surrogate's records begin in 1794/1804. The mailing address of the county Surrogate's Court is 112 Admin. Bldg. P.O. Box 3000 Somerville 08876-3000. For more information, contact the county at 110 Admin. Bldg. 20 Grove St. P.O.
