Skagit is a county in Washington. It was formed in 1883 from the following county/ies: Whatcom. Skagit began keeping birth records in 1891, marriage records in 1891, and death records in 1891. It began keeping land records in 1872, probate records in 1884, and court records in 1878. For more information, contact the county at 700 S. Second St., Mount Vernon 98273-3879.
