Shawano is a county in Wisconsin. It was formed in 1853 from the following counties: Oconto/Waupaca/Winnebago. Shawano began keeping birth records in 1854, marriage records in 1848, and death records in 1860. It began keeping land records in 1854, probate records in 1861, and court records in 1861.
