Salem is a county in New Jersey. It was formed in 1694 from West Jersey Province. The Earliest Land Deed was recorded in 1766/1786. The Surrogate's records begin in 1785/1804. The mailing address of the county Surrogate's Court is 92 Market St. Salem 08079-1913. For more information, contact the county at 92 Market St. P.O. Box 18 Salem 08079-0018.
