Russell is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1786 from the following county/ies: Washington. Russell began keeping birth records in 1853, marriage records in 1853, and death records in 1853. It began keeping land records in 1768, probate records in 1803, and court records in 1786. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 1208 Lebanon 24266-1208.
