Powell is a county in Montana. It was formed in 1901 from the following county/ies: Deer Lodge. Powell began keeping birth records in 1907, marriage records in 1901, and death records in 1907. It began keeping land records in 1901, probate records in 1901, and court records in 1901. For more information, contact the county at 409 Missouri Ave., Deer Lodge 59722-1084. On the attached map, Powell is located at C5. Land was added from counties Deer Lodge in 1903 and Missoula in 1915.
