Pottawatomie is a county in Oklahoma. It was formed in 1891 from the following county/ies: Pottawatomie-Shawnee Nations. Pottawatomie began keeping birth records in 1908, marriage records in 1892, and death records in 1908. It began keeping land records in 1895, probate records in 1892, and court records in 1892.
