Palo Alto| is a county in Iowa. It was formed in 1851 (1858) from the following county/ies: unorganized (Delaware/ Polk)/ *Boone/ *Webster. Palo Alto| began keeping birth records in 1880, marriage records in 1860, and death records in 1880. It began keeping land records in 1858, probate records in 1864, and court records in 1870.
