Oswego is a county in New York. It was formed in 1816 from the following county/ies: Oneida/Onondaga. The earliest land deed in Oswego was recorded in 1791. Surrogate's Court records begin in 1816. One can contact the Surrogate's Court at 25 E. Oneida St., Oswego 13126. For more information, contact the county at 46 E. Bridge St., Oswego 13126-2123.
