Napa is a county in California. It was formed in 1850 from the following county/ies: original. Napa began keeping birth records in 1868, marriage records in 1850, and death records in 1873. It began keeping land records in 1848, probate records in 1851, and court records in 1849. For more information, contact the county at 1195 Third St Rm 310, Napa 94559-3035. On the attached map, Napa is located at C6. Land was added from counties Lake (1872) and Solano (1855).
