Montgomery is a county in Pennsylvania. It was formed in 1784 from the following county/ies: Philadelphia. The earliest land deed in Montgomery was recorded in 1784*. The earliest wills begin in 1784' . For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 311, Norristown 19404-0311. On the attached map, Montgomery is located at K5. * Some early deed books are in the county archives (see below) and the county historical society. '  Most records through the mid-1980s are in the Montgomery County Archives Center, 1880 Markley St., Norristown 19401.
