Monroe is a county in Ohio. It was formed in 1813 (1815) from the following county/ies: Belmont/Guernsey/Washington. Monroe began keeping birth records in 1867, marriage records in 1866, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1836, probate records in 1840, and court records in 1818.
