Milwaukee is a county in Wisconsin. It was formed in 1834 from Brown County. Milwaukee began keeping birth records in 1835, marriage records in 1836, and death records in 1872. It began keeping land records in 1836, probate records in 1838, and court records in 1837. For more information, contact the county at 901 N. Ninth St., Milwaukee 53233.
