Middlesex is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1669 from the following county/ies: Lancaster. Middlesex began keeping birth records in 1853, marriage records in 1740, and death records in 1853. It began keeping land records in 1673, probate records in 1673, and court records in 1673. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 428 Saluda 23149-0428.
