Mecklenburg is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1764/65 from the following county/ies: Lunenberg. Mecklenburg began keeping birth records in 1853, marriage records in 1765, and death records in 1853. It began keeping land records in 1765, probate records in 1764, and court records in 1764.
