McKenzie (present) is a county in North Dakota. It was formed in (1901) 1905 from the following county/ies: Billings. McKenzie (present) began keeping birth records in 1905'08, marriage records in 1906, and death records in 1905'08. It began keeping land records in 1905, probate records in 1905, and court records in 1905. For more information, contact the county at Register of Deeds P.O. Box 523 Watford City 58854. On the attached map, McKenzie (present) is located at B3. In 1901 McKenzie was re-created but remained attached to Stark until it was fully organized in 1905.
