Mason is a county in Washington. It was formed in 1854 from the following county/ies: (as Sawamish; renamed 1864) Thurston. Mason began keeping birth records in 1891, marriage records in 1892, and death records in 1891. It began keeping land records in 1856, probate records in 1871, and court records in 1889.
