Martin is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1870 from the following county/ies: Lawrence/Floyd/Pike/Johnson. Martin began keeping birth records in 1903, marriage records in 1871, and death records in 1905. It began keeping land records in 1870, probate records in 1861, and court records in 1870.
