Marlboro is a county or district in South Carolina. It was formed in 1800 from the following county/ies or district/s: Marlboro County in Cheraws District. It has functioned since 1785. Marlboro began keeping birth records in 1905, marriage records in 1788, and death records in 1915. It began keeping land records in 1786, probate records in 1787, and court records in 1785.
