Marion is a county in Oregon. It was formed in 1843 (as Champoeg; renamed 1849) from the following county/ies: original. Marion began keeping birth records in 1871, marriage records in 1849, and death records in 1907. It began keeping land records in 1850, probate records in 1843, and court records in 1841.
