Madison is a county in Georgia. It was formed in 1811 from the following county/ies: Clarke/Elbert/Franklin/Jackson/Oglethorpe. Madison began keeping birth records in , marriage records in 1812, and death records in . It began keeping land records in 1812, probate records in 1811, and court records in 1812.
