Lexington is a county or district in South Carolina. It was formed in 1804 from the following county/ies or district/s: Orangeburg. Lexington began keeping birth records in 1915, marriage records in 1911, and death records in 1915. It began keeping land records in 1839, probate records in 1809, and court records in 1800.
