Jefferson is a county in Pennsylvania. It was formed in 1804 from the following county/ies: Lycoming. The earliest land deed in Jefferson was recorded in 1828. The earliest wills begin in 1832. For more information, contact the county at 200 Main St., Brookville 15825-1236. On the attached map, Jefferson is located at C3. Jefferson was attached to Westmoreland County until 1806 and to Indiana County until 1830.
