Jackson is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1858 from the following county/ies: Rockcastle/Owsley/Madison/Clay/Estill/Laurel. Jackson began keeping birth records in 1858, marriage records in 1858, and death records in 1858. It began keeping land records in 1858, probate records in 1859, and court records in 1858.
