Iowa is a county in Wisconsin. It was formed in 1829 from Crawford County. Iowa began keeping birth records in 1876, marriage records in 1836, and death records in 1871. It began keeping land records in 1832, probate records in 1837, and court records in 1834. For more information, contact the county at 222 N. Iowa St., Dodgeville 53533.
