Hickory is a county in Missouri. It was formed in 1845 from the following county/ies: Benton/Polk. Hickory began keeping birth records in 1883'98, marriage records in 1872, and death records in 1883'89. It began keeping land records in 1846, probate records in 1845, and court records in 1845. For more information, contact the county at Hermitage 65668. On the attached map, Hickory is located at F3. Courthouse burned 1852, ~1860, and 1881.
