Fresno is a county in California. It was formed in 1856 from the following county/ies: Mariposa/Merced/Tulare. Fresno began keeping birth records in 1873, marriage records in 1856, and death records in 1873. It began keeping land records in 1856, probate records in 1880, and court records in 1856.
