Forest is a county in Pennsylvania. It was formed in 1848 from the following county/ies: Jefferson/(part of Venango;annexed 1866). The earliest land deed in Forest was recorded in 1857. The earliest wills begin in 1855. For more information, contact the county at 526 Elm St., P.O. Box 423, Tionesta 16353-0423. On the attached map, Forest is located at C2. Forest was attached to Jefferson County until 1857.
