Denver is a county in Colorado. It was formed in 1901 from the following county/ies: Arapahoe. Denver began keeping birth records in 1872-1907, marriage records in 1860, and death records in 1887-1907. It began keeping land records in 1902, probate records in 1865-1959*, and court records in 1902. For more information, contact the county at 1437 Bannock St., Denver, 80202. On the attached map, Denver is located at F3. In 1911, Denver City and Denver County merged. Births and Deaths, 1964- present, are at Vital Statistics Room, Denver General Hospital. *Many early Denver records have been deposited at the Colorado State Archives.
