Decatur is a county in Georgia. It was formed in 1823 from the following county/ies: Early/Randolph. Grady and Seminole Counties were created from Decatur in the 20th century. Decatur began keeping birth records in , marriage records in 1824, and death records in . It began keeping land records in 1823, probate records in 1823, and court records in 1823.
