Dane is a county in Wisconsin. It was formed in 1836 from the following counties: Crawford/Iowa/Milwaukee. Dane began keeping birth records in 1860, marriage records in 1839, and death records in 1876. It began keeping land records in 1835, probate records in 1847, and court records in 1841.
