Colfax is a county in New Mexico. It was formed in 1869 from the following county/ies: Mora/Taos. Colfax began keeping birth records in , marriage records in 1869, and death records in . It began keeping land records in 1864, probate records in 1884, and court records in #8. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 159, Raton 87740.
